Background

TuyaOS EasyGO offers a bunch of domain-specific Type Development Kits across different chip platforms for you to choose from.

Tuya Wind IDE (integrated development environment) provides comprehensive facilities to TuyaOS EasyGo developers. Tuya Wind IDE is provided as an extension of Visual Studio Code and is available in both English and Chinese. You log in to this IDE with the account of the Tuya IoT Development Platform.

Installation environment

Tuya Wind IDE supports two installation environments:

• Linux virtual machine on Windows host: used for developing networked products, cellular products, gateways, control panels, IP cameras (IPCs), and network video recorders (NVRs).

• Windows 10 or 11: used for developing sub-devices.
