Production Test

This topic describes how to perform a production test on the aroma diffuser. The Wi-Fi functionality and the defined diffuser features will be verified.

Testing metrics

• The module can discover and be connected to the router and enter testing mode.
• The single-color LED light can change color modes.
• When Button 1 is pressed, the buzzer beeps for one second.
• When Button 2 is pressed, the RGB ambient light goes from red, to green, and to blue with one second between colors. The light will go through this color-changing pattern three times in total.

Things to note

• The distance between the router and the device under test (DUT) should be three to five meters without any obstruction.
• Up to 200 DUTs can be connected to the same router for one test to minimize signal interference. You can perform tests in batch if you have a large number of DUTs.
• Try to place all the irrelevant routers outside of the testing site to provide the best signal reception environment.
• Remove the flag of testing done from DUTs that have been paired for more than 15 minutes.
• Remove these paired devices from the Tuya Smart app and power them off 10 seconds later. The removed device can be tested again 10 seconds after being powered off.

Start the router, place it from DUTs three to five meters away, and set the router’s SSID to tuya_mdev_test1.

With the router turned on, the LED blinks every one second after the device is powered on.

Button, buzzer, and RGB light testing

• When button 1 is pressed, music sync is turned on with the buzzer beeping for one second. When this button is pressed again, music sync is turned off. If your device has three buttons, then press button 3 to perform this test.

• When Button 2 is pressed, the RGB ambient light goes from red, to green, and to blue with one second between colors. The light will go through this color-changing pattern three times in total.

Repeat testing

In normal operation mode, press Button 1 and Button 2 at least five times respectively within five seconds.
