Overview

Zigbee & Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) Combo Device Development Kit is built on top of the TuyaOS and designed for developing smart Zigbee and Bluetooth LE combo products.

This development kit is based on the Zigbee Device Development Kit with the Bluetooth LE capability added. It provides standard APIs for a bunch of features including device pairing, hardware interfaces, upstream and downstream communication, production testing, and OTA updates. You do not need to take care of feature implementation for chip platforms. Just working on the standard APIs, you can connect your products to the Tuya IoT Development Platform and make them IoT-enabled.

Currently, the Bluetooth LE capability only supports device pairing. To use the Bluetooth feature, at least one Zigbee gateway has been paired and available to use. When a Zigbee and Bluetooth LE combo device is advertising, it can be discovered by the Smart Life app and added to the specified Zigbee gateway. After that, it will communicate with this gateway to exchange data with the cloud.
