Online Store Registration and Management Guidance

As fast as 5 minutes, you can have an exclusive smart product online store, you can operate independently, and the released products will also be put on the Tuya Expo platform at the same time for sales to customers around the world.

How to open a store

Start selling

Login to Tuya IoT platform and enter Tuya Smart Site on the right-hand side of the page.

Click Get Started to go to the registration page.

Selling process

After entering the registration page, you need to fulfill all the required information to go to the next step.

Note:

• Please use the main account (administrator account) to open a store, where authorized accounts are not allowed to.
• For regular customers who have completed the enterprise certification, your enterprise name will be automatically filled and cannot be edited. For old customers who haven’t completed the certification, your enterprise name will be as same as the name you entered for your IoT account and can be changed.
• For new customers, please enter your official enterprise name and complete the certification as soon as possible.
• Your English store name will be shown on the top of your store homepage and can be edited via Seller Center – Store Renovation.

After registration, you enter Seller Center or quickly start selling your products.

How to release a product

Choose a product

The image below is the Seller Center. You can click Publish Commodity on the top to start:

A product list will pop up as below. If you have a large number of products, you can search by product category or name to find the product you want to release. Click Select to edit product information.

Please notice that the product can be OEM requiring your product to be in mass production on the IoT platform without using custom firmware. After you released your OEM products, the customer can OEM them in your store.

Editing product information

After entering the product information editing page, fill in and upload basic product information, pictures, videos, and product parameters, then you can publish this product, as shown in the following image: (Be sure to fill in English and see the notice above.)

If you need to change the product, click Change Product right beside Product ID under Product Information.

Releasing a product

When publishing, you can choose to publish publicly or privately, and privately posted items will not be displayed in your store.

You can choose to add to the shelves immediately or not, and the products will be displayed on the Tuya Expo platform after they are added to the shelves.

Commodity library

Products that are not on the shelves can be re-edited, copied, and added to the shelves in the product library. Items that are already on the shelves can be found and removed from the product library.

Store management

Store settings

Here you can set your store’s customer service number (displayed in the customer service window), contact information, and quotation.

You can set up to 5 customer service numbers by just entering the IMID number, where the IMID number can be obtained by clicking View Help below for details.

Store renovation

Here you can edit your store name, introduction, signboard, pictures, and detailed information to better show your company strengths to customers.

Please note that the information and pictures must be in English.

To see the final design, save your edits and go to Seller Center by clicking View Store on the top of the homepage.

You can set up to 10 recommended items in your store.

Click Add Item and select the item you want to recommend from your posted products.

Recommended products can be displayed on the homepage of the store and on the right side of each product detail page.
