Communication protocol type

Wi-Fi
- Supported protocols: Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+Blootooth, combo module ( dual-protocol)
- Frequency bands: 2.4G
- Remote control: No gateway required
- Communication features: Larger coverage, fast transmission rate, wide application fields, and high penetration rate.
- Shipment prospects: Applicable to most fields. At present, most consumer smart switches at home and abroad apply this protocol.
- User operation: Just connect the switch to the router to realize remote control, timer switch, countdown switch, voice control, and other functions.
Bluetooth
- Supported protocols: Bluetooth Mesh (SIG), Bluetooth LE protocol.
- Remote control: Gateway required.
- Communication features: Micro-ampere level low power consumption, stable anti-interference, and high safety performance.
- Shipment prospects: It can support hundreds of equipment ad hoc networks, suitable for large-scale centralized control in places such as shops, public spaces, and more.
- User operation: The user can remotely control the devices that are connected to the gateway through the mobile phone. For each additional gateway, hundreds of switch devices can be added.
Zigbee
- Supported protocol: Zigbee 3.0 standard protocol.
- Remote control: Gateway required.
- Communication features: Support the connection of hundreds of devices, with high security, low power consumption, large capacity, low latency, and good stability.
- Shipment prospects: Based on the Zigbee 3.0 standard protocol, it can be interconnected with other types of smart devices in the local area network. It is suitable for Smart Home, Hotel& Apartment, and other self-contained scenarios
- User operation: You can perform remote control, timer switch, countdown switch, voice control, and other operations on the switch only through the Zigbee gateway. It can run normally even when the network is disconnected.

Control type

Dual-control/multi-channel type	Remarks
Multi-control linkage	To control the buttons of the same lamp, only one of the terminals needs to be connected to the load line to support 4-button control. It is recommended to use a neutral-line switch.
Wireless switch	Simple wiring, no need to re-wiring, support dualand multiple control, rich button action, switches connected with neutral and live lines, or switches with live wires are also recommended to be used.
Local dual-control	The wiring is complicated, and the corresponding support of firmware is required. It does not rely on the wireless network, and the local control can display dual control and multiple control.

System description

- IoT modules: Integrate the functions of software control and Tuya cloud connection.
- IoT gateways: The core part of devices with Bluetooth or Zigbee protocol. With the gateway, the devices can be connected to the network and communicate with other devices. The gateway can communicate with the cloud and mobile apps by connecting to the router. The gateway can view and remotely control devices with Zigbee or bluetooth protocol.
Control Panel Unit: The remote control page on the app of smart products and the entrance to interact with smart products.
