This chapter provides the API reference by features. You can choose from our various APIs to implement the features you need, quickly send test requests, and get responses.

API documentation:

APIs	Description
Basic functionality	Provides APIs essential to implement the basic features for a gateway product, such as initialization, authorization configuration, and device reset.
Data point (DP) control	Provides APIs to control the features of gateways or sub-devices, including sending and receiving messages to and from the cloud, local control, and more.
Firmware update	Provides APIs to update the firmware on the gateway or the sub-device, including firmware update download and syncing download and installation progress.
Device management	Provides APIs to connect sub-devices to gateways, including adding, removing, and resetting devices.
Wired connection	Provides APIs to implement device pairing over a wired connection.
Wireless connection	Provides APIs to implement device pairing by using AP or EZ mode over a wireless connection. Your SDK for use must support wireless connection.
Bluetooth pairing	Provides APIs to implement device pairing over a Bluetooth connection. Your SDK for use must support Bluetooth connection.
Zigbee connection	Provides APIs for Zigbee modules, including Zigbee protocol initialization and startup and connection to third-party Zigbee devices.
Bluetooth connection	Provides APIs for Bluetooth modules, including Bluetooth protocol initialization and startup. Your SDK for use must support Bluetooth connection.
Route and repeater	Provides APIs to develop routers and repeaters.
Pegasus pairing	Provides APIs for Pegasus pairing to broadcast the pairing information to enable Wi-Fi devices to be quickly paired.
Security features	Provides APIs to develop gateways with security features.
Engineering mode	Provides APIs to implement the engineering mode for a gateway.
Infrared feature	Provides APIs to control infrared devices and enable infrared learning.
