You can apply for a new brand on Tuya Smart app and Smart Life app and maintain products that have been developed by using brand information.

App users can quickly get brand information of the purchased products and contact the brand for help through the brand page. They can also purchase more smart products.

Prerequisites

To provide a better experience for app users, you should meet the following requirements when applying for a brand page:

  • Your enterprise account has been verified.
  • The product ID (PID) belongs to the target brand.
  • You can offer after-sales services.

Apply for a brand

When all the requirements are met, you can proceed to apply for a brand.

Procedure

  1. Go to Operation > Tuya’s Apps > My Brands.

  2. If you are using an unverified account, click Verify Now. Return to this page after verification and continue with the following steps.

  3. Fill in your brand name, logo, and brand website in the pop-up window that appears, and click Apply Now.

  4. On the My Brands page, you can view the list of brands and their status.

    • The Tuya team will review your application within one to three workdays.
    • If your application is approved, you can use Tuya Promotions Manager to promote a product by directing app users to purchase the product on third-party platforms or within the app.

You can apply for multiple brand pages for an approved brand. You can add brand information, including the contacts, after-sales agreement, and listed products, on the brand pages.

Procedure

  1. Go to Operation > Tuya’s Apps > My Brands.

  2. If your brand application is approved, click Manage Brand Page in the Operation column to access the brand page.

  3. The Contacts component is selected by default. Click the component in the preview on the left to uncheck or recheck it.
    Fill in the brand’s contact information and after-sales service address.

  4. Click Edit Regions to specify the countries or regions where the brand page is accessible.

    Only app users registered in these countries or regions can access the brand page.

  5. Click Save and Publish to submit the brand page.

    • You need to update the translations for corresponding languages after adding supported countries or regions.
    • The Tuya team will review your brand page before its publication. This review typically takes one to three workdays.

Share and discover brand pages

After your brand page is approved, you can share its QR code or use the Product Profile feature in the app to allow your users to quickly find your brand.

Procedure

  1. Go to Operation > Tuya’s Apps > My Brands.

  2. If your brand application is approved, click Manage Brand Page in the Operation column to access the brand page.

  3. If your brand page is approved, click Get URL at the bottom of the brand page to get the QR code or miniapp URL for your brand page.

Add brand page entry to device details page

Copy the brand page URL and go to the Device Details Page Configuration module to add a card.

Discover brand pages before activating devices

After obtaining the QR code and URL for your brand page:

  • You can place the QR code on product packaging. Users can scan the QR code with the Smart Life app or Tuya Smart app to access your brand page.
  • If you are invited to participate in Tuya’s marketing campaigns, Tuya will use your brand page URL in app notifications, pop-ups, and messages to direct users to your brand page.

Discover brand pages after activating devices

Associate devices with your brand. When app users activate their devices, they can discover your brand page in the app.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Product Profile page. You can find all your products except for the authorized ones.

  2. In the Operation column, click Edit Product Profile.

  3. In the pop-up window that appears, complete the required information.

    • Select a brand in the Brand drop-down list. You can only select an approved brand.

    • Select Online for Status to activate the product profile.

  4. App users can access your brand page in the following ways:

    • Tap Smart > Product Profile at the bottom of the app.

    • Access a direct link to your brand page after pairing the device.

    • App users will see the Product Profile tab under Smart only if their device PID matches the PID under your Developer Platform account.
    • If the device is activated for the first time, it takes 24 to 48 hours for the Product Profile entry to appear.

Sell products on brand pages

Add products to your brand page so that app users can buy more from your brand.

Constraints

  • Products sold on the Tuya App must comply with the platform’s rules and the regulations of the target countries and regions.
  • Currently, only in-app purchases of products from App Mall are supported.
  • Currently, only invited sellers can sell products on their brand pages. Contact Tuya to apply for a brand page.

Procedure

  1. Go to Operation > Tuya’s Apps > My Brands.

  2. Click Manage Brand Page in the Operation column to access the brand page.

  3. Click the Recommended component in the preview on the left and complete configurations as instructed.
