Solution introduction

The dash cam solution is built on top of traditional camera capabilities and offers two access options: pairing-free mode for local area network (LAN) use and 4G connectivity. In addition, this solution provides functions, such as live video streaming, video recording playback, and a local album. It also supports specialized functions like emergency snapshots, time-lapse recording, and parking monitoring to meet diverse user needs.

Pairing methods

Pairing-free (local connection)

Compared to traditional pairing methods like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the pairing-free mode is faster and eliminates the need for a pairing process. After simply scanning a QR code to access device information, users can perform some basic functions, including peer-to-peer preview and playback.

  1. Tap + > Scan in the upper-right corner.

    Dash Cam Solution
  2. Point the lens at the QR code attached to a dash cam device and scan it.

    Dash Cam Solution
  3. Add the dash cam device as a local device and rename it as needed after it is recognized.

    Dash Cam Solution
  4. Once the dash cam device is added, it will be displayed as a local device. The device can only be viewed and controlled while the mobile phone is connected to the hot spot of the device.

4G-based pairing

Select a 4G camera during pairing. The pairing steps for 4G cameras are the same as those for regular cameras, which also use QR codes for connection.
