This topic describes the certified modules that are available in the Sample Store on the Tuya Developer Platform.

A conducted module is used for conducted tests required for compliance certification. The module is flashed with fixed-frequency firmware. An RF cable with an SMA connector is soldered to connect to test instruments such as a spectrum analyzer. The module has 3.3V, GND, RX, and TX pins brought out. You can connect the module to the computer through a USB to TTL converter and fix the frequency with testing software or commands.

Conducted tests

This section describes the conducted tests required for CE, FCC, and SRRC certifications.

CE

  • Standard: ETSI EN 300 328

  • Click to download ETSI EN 300 328 V2.2.2.pdf

  • Test items:

    • Maximum output power (EIRP)
    • Power spectral density (PSD)
    • Duty cycle, Tx-sequence, and Tx-gap
    • Occupied channel bandwidth
    • Out-of-band emission
    • Transmitter spurious emissions (conducted)
    • Receiver spurious emissions (conducted)

FCC

  • Standard: FCC Part 15C 15.247

  • Click to download FCC Part 15C 15.247.pdf

  • Test items:

    • Maximum conducted output power
    • Conducted emissions, 6 dB bandwidth
    • Power spectral density (PSD)
    • Conducted spurious emissions
    • Sideband

SRRC

  • Standard: No. 129 Notice on Strengthening and Regulating the Radio Management of the 2400 MHz, 5100 MHz, and 5800 MHz Frequency Bands published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China in 2021. The SRRC test methods comply with the ETSI EN 300 328 standard.
