Production Test of Smart Switch Module

This topic describes how to test the Wi-Fi functionality of the smart switch module and the communication capability between the module and the MCU.

Scope of application

The firmware of Wi-Fi smart switch modules supports a new production test process, and the process is repeatable.

Preparation

• One wireless router with a 2.4 GHz band:
  • A 2.4 GHz wireless router must be used.
  • It needs to be powered and does not need to access the internet.
  • Set the router’s SSID to tuya_mdev_test1. You can use the Wi-Fi feature of your mobile phone to check whether the setting is successful. You can choose whether to set a password.
  • Put the router near the device under test and about 3 to 5 meters away from the test jig.
• Try to put all the irrelevant routers outside of the testing site to provide the best signal reception environment.
• For a device that has been paired with the app, you need to click Remove Device on the app, wait 10 seconds, and then power off the device.
