Production Test

This topic describes the production test process of smart switch modules with speed control.

Purpose

Test the functionality and communication capability of the Wi-Fi module.

Applicability

The firmware of Wi-Fi smart switch modules with speed control supports a new repeatable production test process.

Preparation

• One wireless router with 2.4 GHz band.
  • A 2.4 GHz wireless router must be used. It needs to be powered and does not need to access the internet.
  • Set the router’s SSID to tuya_mdev_test1.
  • You can use the Wi-Fi feature of your mobile phone to check whether the setting is successful. You can choose whether to set a password.
• Put the router near the device under test and about 3 to 5 meters away from the test jig.
• Try to put all the irrelevant routers outside the testing site to provide the best signal reception environment.
• For a device that has been paired with the app, you need to tap Remove Device on the app, wait 10 seconds, and then power off the device.
