Introduction

After you determine the development mode, select a development kit that meets your requirements. This section provides information on the different development kits in terms of features, resource requirements, and capabilities to help you select a kit for your use case.

The following table lists the Matter-supported type development kits and their applicability.

Type development kit	Applicability
Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Matter device development	Used to develop Wi-Fi products that are both Matter-enabled and Tuya-enabled.
Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Matter Lite device development	Used to develop Matter-enabled Wi-Fi products.
Matter over Thread device development	Used to develop Thread products that are both Matter-enabled and Tuya-enabled.
Matter gateway development	Used to develop gateway products that are both Matter-enabled and Tuya-enabled.
Matter bridge development	Used to develop Matter bridges that can bring non-Matter devices into the Matter ecosystem.
