Create Product

This topic describes how to create a smart switch on the Tuya Developer Platform. The creation process might vary, depending on different development methods.

Prerequisites

Before you create the product, the following conditions must be met:

• A developer account of the Tuya Developer Platform must be registered.

• The verification of the organization’s identity is recommended to get more functional permissions. For more information, see Organization Verification.

Procedure

Follow the instructions in Create Products to select the required category and create the product. To select the category, choose Standard Category > Electrical > Smart Switch > Switch.
