Develop Application

This topic describes the second step in developing a solution, that is, develop an application. Complete the following configuration on 02 Develop Application on the details page.

SaaS development

On the SaaS Development page, fill in the basic attribute information of the SaaS and build the OEM SaaS effortlessly.

SaaS basic information

SaaS basic information is required to build an OEM SaaS instance. Refer to the following table for details.

Admin information

Set up a system super administrator account using a mobile phone number and email address. After the SaaS instance is built, the super administrator can access the SaaS instance.

Create SaaS

After filling in the information, click Generate SaaS to build the OEM SaaS instance. After the build is finished, you can see the basic information of the SaaS instance.

Click Go to SaaS to log in to the SaaS instance. Click SaaS Configuration to enter the configuration details page. For more information about SaaS instance configuration, see SaaS Management.

App development

On the App Development page, create a supporting OEM app and perform a demonstration test.

Create OEM app

Click Create App and select the app type to build an OEM app. For detailed steps, see Create OEM App. Tuya offers ready-to-use mobile application types. You can select the required app type to build an OEM app.

After the app is created, you can see the created app instance.

Click App Configuration to enter the details page of the app instance development for further settings. For more information, see OEM App.

Demo test app

If your project is in the early stages of testing or Proof of Concept (POC), and does not require building an app instance, you can use Tuya’s all-in-one app for solution testing and POC. After the verification is successful, you can build the OEM app.

Then, you can click Next Step Complete Solution to proceed to complete the solution. For more information, see Complete Solution.
