v6.9.0 Update Instructions

This topic describes the updates of the OEM app for Smart Home Lighting with v6.9.0. This app version was released on September 18, 2025. You can integrate the updates into your app.

App update

Optimized scenes

• Added the setting of Delayed Tasks in the Tap-to-Run scene. Users can now set a countdown timer to schedule the delayed execution of tap-to-run tasks.

  

iOS 26 System adaptation and optimization

Implemented compatibility fixes for in-app visual presentation problems triggered by iOS 26 (Beta).

App update

Added protocol re-signing feature

This feature is designed for scenarios where existing users must re-sign the updated agreement to continue using the app. Perform the following steps:

1. Log in to the Tuya Developer Platform, go to App Development, select the desired app, and click Configure in the Operation column.

2. In 03 Build App > Complete App Development Configurations, select an item, such as Children’s Privacy Protection Statement, and then click Configure.

   

3. On the page that appears, click Agreement re-signing settings in the Operation column.

   

4. On the page of Agreement re-signing settings, click Enable and save. When this feature is enabled, a re-signing popup will be displayed upon app launch. Users cannot proceed without accepting the latest agreement.
