Overview
Energy Management is a versatile application that provides detailed energy data and analytics based on statistics organized by space, device, and specific usage labels. It is widely applicable in scenarios such as campuses, buildings, parking lots, and offices. Through energy management, you can achieve precise tracking and visualization of energy usage data.

Application structure
Energy management consists of the following main components:
- Project Energy: Calculate the overall energy consumption data of a project, encompassing all spaces and their energy-consuming devices within the project.
- Area Energy: Calculate the energy consumption data of user-selected spaces and their subspaces.
- Usage Energy: Calculate data from devices within the project that have been configured with energy usage tags. The data is categorized and displayed according to these tags.
- Energy Setting: Complete basic settings for energy statistics, including the carbon emission factor, energy cost, theoretical energy, usage tags, device energy usage, and main meter setup.
Energy-consuming devices must be pre-configured by contacting the development team for energy tagging. Otherwise, their energy data will not be visible on the platform.
Features
Project energy
- Support filtering the project’s overall energy consumption data by day, week, month, or year. Data granularity varies based on the selected time range:
- If a single day is selected, data is displayed hourly.
- If a range spanning days/weeks/months is selected, data is aggregated and displayed daily.
- If a range spanning months/years is selected, data is aggregated and displayed monthly.
- Electricity usage data includes electricity consumption and electricity costs. Energy saving data includes energy savings, energy saving rate, electricity saving cost, and carbon emission reduction.
- Support displaying statistical data using either bar charts or line charts.

Area energy
- Support filtering the overall energy consumption data for a specified space and its subspaces by day, week, month, or year.
- Electricity usage data includes electricity consumption, electricity costs, and maximum and minimum electricity consumption within a certain period. Energy saving data includes energy savings, energy saving rate, electricity saving cost, and carbon emission reduction.
- Support displaying statistical data using either bar charts or line charts.

Usage energy
- Support filtering energy consumption data for specific usage tags by day, week, month, or year. Only devices configured with the selected tags are included in the statistics.
- Electricity usage data includes electricity consumption, electricity costs, and maximum and minimum electricity consumption within a certain period. Energy saving data includes energy savings, energy saving rate, electricity saving cost, and carbon emission reduction.
- Support viewing item-by-item energy consumption details.
- Support displaying statistical data using either bar charts or line charts.

Energy setting
- Carbon emission factor: Set the annual carbon emission factor, used for calculating carbon emissions and carbon reduction.
- Energy costs: Configure cost rules, used for calculating energy expenses and energy-saving benefits
- Theoretical energy: Define the theoretical energy consumption rule per product ID (PID), used as the baseline for calculating energy savings.
- Energy usage tags: Create custom energy classification dimensions, used for compiling sub-item energy statistics.
- Device energy usage: Assign energy usage tags to devices, enabling their inclusion in sub-item energy statistics.
- Set main meter: Specify the main metering device for a space to prevent duplicate energy consumption calculations.

Carbon emission factor
You can add carbon emission factors. Click Add rule and set the value.

You can also edit or delete existing carbon emission factors by clicking the Edit/Delete buttons.

Energy costs
To create a billing rule, click Add rule and complete the relevant configuration.
- You can set either a single cost or a multi-type cost.
- For multi-type costs, different strategies can be set for each month. All 12 months must be configured. Each strategy can define four time periods: peak, high peak, flat peak, and valley. All 24 hours must be assigned to these periods.

You can set the currency in which costs are displayed, such as CNY (Chinese Yuan) and EUR (Euro).

Theoretical energy
To add a rule, first toggle the switch on to enable theoretical energy consumption statistics for the device. Then, click Add rule and complete the relevant configuration.
- You can set the theoretical energy by PID. Only electrical PIDs that have been energy-tagged within the project are displayed.
- Allow manual configuration of running time. The theoretical energy consumption is calculated based on the formula: Daily running time × Theoretical power.

Energy usage tags
Default energy usage tags are available. You can click Add to create custom tags.

You can also edit or delete existing tags.

Device energy usage
-
Set tags in bulk. Select the target devices, then click Batch set and choose the tag.

-
You can select Only show unset to filter and show only devices without assigned tags.

Set main meter
- If a main meter is designated for a space node, only its energy consumption is counted. If no main meter is designated, the consumption of all devices within that space node is aggregated.
- By default, all devices are initialized as non-main meters.
- Only devices that have completed energy tagging are displayed.
- The query for devices is limited to the current space node and does not include devices in its subspaces.
