A BMS box (UART) is a cellular-based battery management system (BMS) with a positioning function. It is built with Tuya’s proprietary 4G LTE Cat.1 module LZ501-CN and positioning module GUC300. This BMS box features battery information reporting, battery parameter configuration, remote control, and fault alerts.

Installation

Instructions on installing 4G BMS box (UART)

Step 1: Install the SIM card.
Step 2: Connect the wire.

Harness description:

Type	Description
Power supply	Red wire, connected to 12V to 85V power supply.
Ground	Black wire, the ground wire.
UART RX (white)	White wire, the UART receiver.
UART TX (yellow)	Yellow wire, the UART transmitter.
UART GND (purple)	Purple wire, the UART ground.

The BMS box comes with a 2-pin power connector and a 3-pin UART connector. You can customize the connectors to match the battery and device.
