Components

This board is composed of ten 5V RGB light beads, a sound pick-up circuit consisting of a microphone and operational amplifier, and the extension interfaces for an IR receiver circuit and external RGB strip lights. It has an interface for connecting to the Tuya NANO or Sandwich microcontroller board. The following table lists the key components:

Component Description
LED1-LED10 WS2812B 5V RGB light beads
U3 Logical component, single AND gate
U4 LM321 operational amplifier

Pin configuration

For the numbers in blue color:

  1. RGB light beads: It has a built-in LED driver IC and is powered by a 5V supply.
  2. Jumpers: They are used to set the control signals as the built-in LED beads (LED1 to LED10) or the connected external RGB strip lights (indicated by number 3).
  3. Extension interface: It is used to connect to external RGB strip lights that are powered by a built-in supply or an external 12V Arduino board.
  4. Microphone: It is used to pick up sounds.

Power supply from Arduino board only applies to 12V RGB strip lights.

Pin definition:

Number in red Number in yellow I/O Feature
15 2 IR_RX IR signal reception
6, 7, 29 4, 29 GND Power pin
9 11 ADC Sound pick-up signal (analog signal)
19 13 P16 RGB strip lights control signal (digital signal)
4 17 3.3V 3.3 VDC power supply
5 27 5V 5 VDC power supply
  • The numbers in yellow indicate the interfaces for connecting to the Sandwich NANO microcontroller board.
  • The numbers in red indicate the interfaces for connecting to the Sandwich Arduino microcontroller board.

Power requirements

Supply voltage to the RGB strip lights board according to the operating voltage of the microcontroller board. 5V DC voltage is recommended.
