GNSS Module

This chapter describes a range of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) modules provided by Tuya. GNSS modules are built with advanced RF and communication technologies for high-precision positioning and navigation.

How it works

A GNSS is a type of satellite navigation that provides global coverage. A GNSS is defined as a constellation of orbiting satellites working together with a network of ground control stations and receivers that calculate ground positions through an adapted version of trilateration. Tuya’s GNSS modules, built with advanced RF and antenna technology, can communicate with satellites to provide reliable positioning services in different use cases.

Applicability

GNSS modules can be used in various devices, including but not limited to:

• Location services: Mapping and navigation platforms and applications.
• Logistics tracking: Fleet monitoring and management to track assets and vehicles.
