This topic describes the updates of the Smart Life app v3.26.5. This version of the app was released on April 12, 2021. You can download it in major app stores such as Apple App Store and Google Play.

Updated features

Bluetooth mesh standard group

Bluetooth mesh standard group solves the current problems of the Bluetooth mesh group, such as the inability to obtain the group icon and the lack of shortcut operations, so that the group has a unified control experience.

HomeKit Phase II

Tuya devices compatible with HomeKit can be linked with non-Tuya devices that implement HomeKit, excellent user experience. Wi-Fi devices are compatible with HomeKit. In this phase, gateway devices are added, which further enriches Tuya’s categories of HomeKit.

Newly added shortcuts to control multiple-way switch

For composite products such as multiple-way switches and power strips, the current shortcut switch only supports a one-way switch, not conform to actual use. e.g, it can’t determine the certain switch most commonly used. This change supports multiple boolean DP for shortcuts, which helps users realize simultaneous control of multiple-way switches.

Newly added App authorization management

Currently, the marketing push and data application of the App are based on user permission and authorization.
The new version has added a user authorization page to facilitate users to manage their own authorizations and view details such as privacy policy and user agreement.
