v3.30.5 Update Notes

This topic describes the updates of the Smart Life app v3.30.5. This version of the app was released on Aug 15, 2021. You can download it in major app stores such as Apple App Store and Google Play.

What is new?

New Operation Position and Data Overview function added

The new Operation Position such as a plug-in, pop-up window, banner, and automatic tracking of operation position is added in the public App. This Operation Position can help to display various contents based on users’ demands and increasing the accuracy of a user touch.

Configurable recipe content on OEM App

The tab bar in OEM App can support the configuration of different functional modules. Apps in different industries and device categories can display personalized content.

Third-party skill service authorization management function

When users bind or unbind third-party skills, message reminders are added. Users can also make authorization management to their third-party skill account.

Optimization of scene recommendation function

Support of configuring raw DP reporting as scenario conditions are added. Besides, recommendations of scenarios for shopping guides are added to make it more convenient for users to purchase other devices linked to the scenario.

Bluetooth Gateway supports bidirectional beacon capability

With the popularization of Bluetooth Gateway, the gateway can be used in a wider range of scenarios at home. After adding Beacon to the gateway, the user can use various functions in the App.

New TY_SMesh protocol type added

TY_SMesh also called Tuya Sub-G Mesh is a small wireless communication type, which has advantage of long outdoor communication distance, great indoor wall penetration effect and low power consumption and cost.
