This topic describes the updates of the OEM app for Smart Life with v5.11.0. This app version was released on March 28, 2024. You can integrate the updates into your app.

Optimized Matter and HomeKit for quick sync with Tuya

Quickly sync Matter and HomeKit devices from the Apple Home app to your OEM app.

Platform update

Auto AP connection

With AP Hotspot Auto-Connect enabled, when users pair a device in AP mode:

• The iOS phone will suggest users connect to the best available AP signal that is already bound with the app.

• The Android phone will suggest users connect to the available AP signal that is already bound with the app.

  

5 GHz Wi-Fi detection

With 5 GHz Wi-Fi Detection enabled, the Android phone will automatically detect the frequency of the connected Wi-Fi network. If a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network is used and the device does not support it, the app will display the list of 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks and prompt users to connect to one of them.
