Template v6.3.0 Update Instructions

This topic describes the updates of the OEM app for Smart Life v6.3.0. This app version was released on March 4, 2025. You can integrate the updates into your app.

App update

Optimized pairing experience

• Supported QR code for cellular: You can customize the template for pairing with QR code in the cellular network.

• Optimized the page interaction: On the page for selecting the Wi-Fi network, the button for switching Wi-Fi is updated from an icon to the text Select Wi-Fi.

  

Supported sharing homepage configurations

When the Default Configuration is selected in the top left corner of the app homepage, all home members can share the homepage style configured by the home owner without having to edit the homepage themselves.

App update

Supported custom splash screen

1. Choose App > App Creation. Find the desired app and click Configure in the Operation column.

2. On the 01 Customize UI tab, find Configure App UI and click Splash Screen and Login/Register Page.

   

3. In the section of New Guide Image Settings, click Set Now.

   

4. On the page of App Guide Image Settings, configure basic information, content, and more. After the configuration is completed, when a user newly installs the app or updates to this specified version for the first time, the splash screen will show the configured content.

   

Distribute miniapp to homepage of device templates

1. Choose App > App Creation. Find the desired app and click Configure in the Operation column.

2. On the 01 Customize UI tab, find Configure App UI and click Custom Home Page.

   

3. On the page of Home, find the section of Smart Home Service Settings on Homepage, click Set Now, and then specify the service cards to be displayed on the app homepage by default.
