Template v5.14.0 Update Instructions

This topic describes the updates of the OEM app for Smart Life with v5.14.0. This app version was released on June 25, 2024. You can integrate the updates into your app.

App update

Optimized adding multi-mode gateways

Added support for automatically searching for nearby gateway sub-devices, allowing users to add a discovered sub-device to their home by simply tapping on it.

Optimized multi-device smart control

• User-defined components on the DIY homepage support Smart MiniApp.

  

• The weather card can adapt to the custom theme color of the app.

• The homepage supports the Plug & Play pairing guide.

Migrated featured service on the Smart page

If your app previously had a Featured module, you can confirm whether the module exists on the Smart page or the Me page.
If this module exists, after you upgrade to OEM app v5.14.0, the Featured module will no longer be available. You need to do the following to upgrade your app.

1. Hide the Featured module by using the distribution function of Smart MiniApp.
2. The cloud storage service has been replaced by the Cam Service Hall. Through the distribution function of Smart MiniApp, the Cam Service Hall miniapp can be distributed to the Smart page.
