Template v6.7.0 Update Instructions

This topic describes the updates of the OEM app for Smart Life v6.7.0. This app version was released on July 16, 2025. You can integrate the updates into your app.

App update

Optimized scenes

When creating a smart scene and adding trigger conditions (such as timing and weather changes) or actions (such as turning on the air conditioner):

• You can select multiple devices in the configuration process.

  

• You can also set numerical ranges for temperature, humidity, and brightness levels.

  

Shortcut service card

The homepage now supports the following shortcut service cards:

Do Not Disturb (DND) card

• The DND card provides a visual management entry for users to quickly configure the DND mode.
• Temporary DND durations of alerts can be set to 1, 3, 12, or 24 hours. During an active DND period, external device alert notifications will be blocked.

One-tap privacy card

A One-Tap Privacy card is available. Users can instantly set active camera devices to privacy protection mode with a single tap, ensuring privacy security.

Optimized device sharing experience

Optimized device interaction flow with upgraded user experience in the following aspects:

• Added device sharing history for easy viewing and management of shared devices. Enabled direct revocation capability
• Account-based sharing now supports quick sharing with frequent contacts.
• When sharing a link publicly, users can set the number of times the link can be used.
• Optimized the page interaction to make features more intuitive and user-friendly.

Scenario Solutions

• Tuya offers multiple OEM App-based scenario solutions, enabling enterprises to rapidly build branded apps tailored to vertical industries. Each template features industry-customized UI designs, functional modules, and service capabilities. Therefore, users can accelerate development, reduce costs, and achieve fast product deployment and marketing.

• During creation of an OEM app on the Tuya Developer Platform, the selection page now features a Popular Recommendations section. Diverse OEM app types provide specialized, focused, and vertical scenario solutions.

  

• Added scenario solutions, including Smart Life, AI Toys, IPC, and Home Energy Management. OEM app types for smart life scenarios include basic and advanced editions, while OEM apps for the other three scenarios only provide advanced editions.

  • Smart Life: Connect to smart devices across brands and categories and work as a smart home control hub.

    

  • AI Toys: Quickly build a dedicated app for AI-powered toys.

    

  • IPC: This template is designed for users of camera devices and smart protection solutions, enhancing the user experience.

    

  • New Energy: This template is tailored for new energy devices and offers convenient device monitoring and management.
